A little latte for when you're in the mood to switch up your coffee routine. I'm a big fan of black coffee, or a cup of coffee with a splash of almond milk and don't typically opt to make lattes. However, when I do make one, I never regret it. And this yummy vanilla maple almond latte is no exception. It's delicious, easy to make, and you probably have all the ingredients on hand... so go give it a try! Recipe below :)
Ingredients:
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 cup coffee
2 tbsp almond butter (I used Justin's maple almond butter)
2 tsp vanilla
a pinch of sea salt
1 tbsp maple syrup
Directions:
Heat almond milk on the stove and then pour into your blender. (I used my vitamix)
Add the rest of the ingredients and blend for about 3 minutes. Begin blending at the lowest speed and gradually increase it. This is what will give you a good froth.
Pour latte into mug and top with some frothed almond milk (this is optional but I did this using my frother).
Sprinkle with cinnamon and enjoy!
